The River Stinchar is one of the most productive of the Ayrshire salmon
rivers and it has some excellent fly water. The Stinchar is a typical west
coast spate river - fishing is at its best in a falling water immediately
after a summer or autumn spate. Read the Fishing Guide for some impartial
advice on the best fishing conditions and methods.
There is also a description of the various beats
with contact details if you wish to book some fishing, and a useful list of
accommodation in the Stinchar Valley. |
